Using Vruza
By using Vruza, you agree to these terms and our privacy policy. Vruza provides customer reputation checks and Shopify order risk assessments for merchants. You must have authority to connect your store and submit customer information.
Merchant responsibilities
Provide accurate information, protect your account and API credentials, and report unauthorized access to support@vruza.ai. You must have a lawful basis for supplying customer data, disclose Vruza processing to customers, and obtain any legally required consent. Do not submit fabricated outcomes, use scores to unlawfully discriminate, or access another merchant’s private records.
Shared reputation service
Vruza matches customer activity using hashed phone numbers and combines participating merchants’ order signals to calculate shared reputation scores. By connecting your store, you authorize this processing for the fraud-prevention service described in the privacy policy. Hashing does not make customer activity anonymous. You can request access, correction or deletion through privacy@vruza.ai or Shopify’s privacy request tools.
Risk assessments and merchant decisions
Scores are estimates based on available signals. Fulfillment is not proof of delivery or cash collection, and a cancellation is not automatically a rejected delivery. Merchants remain responsible for fulfillment, payment and customer-service decisions. Shopify fulfillment holds, where applied, should be reviewed by the merchant. Vruza does not guarantee fraud prevention or a reduction in returns.
Pricing
The current plan is free. We do not collect payment details for this plan. Any future charges for the Shopify app will use Shopify billing and require the merchant’s approval before charging. The applicable pricing will be disclosed before a paid plan is selected.
Shopify integration
Vruza is solely responsible for the application, its development, marketing, distribution, support and handling of merchant data. Shopify is not liable for faults in Vruza or harm arising from its installation or use. Except where Shopify expressly states otherwise, Shopify does not provide assistance with installing or using Vruza. Contact support@vruza.ai for application support.
Ending use and data requests
You may uninstall the Shopify app to disconnect your store. We disable access and clear stored Shopify credentials on uninstall, and process subsequent shop-redaction requests to remove store data. Contact privacy@vruza.ai to request account deletion or help with customer privacy requests. Data retained for other participating merchants is handled according to the privacy policy.
Availability and changes
The service may be interrupted for maintenance or incidents. We may update these terms as the service changes and will communicate material changes to merchants. Questions about these terms can be sent to legal@vruza.ai.
